How many licenses should I purchase for my company?
You should purchase as many licenses as many Authorized Users will use VisualSVN. It means you should buy N VisualSVN Professional licenses if you have N developers using VisualSVN. For further details please consider our End-User License Agreement.
Do I need to purchase an upgrade to VisualSVN 8.x?
VisualSVN licenses purchased since June 17th, 2021 are eligible for a free upgrade to VisualSVN 8.x without requiring to change the license key. VisualSVN Licenses issued before June 17th, 2021 require an upgrade purchase for VisualSVN 8.x.
Do I get free upgrades when I purchase VisualSVN license?
Upgrades to all new versions of VisualSVN within the same major release are free. It means that VisualSVN 8.0 license is valid for all VisualSVN 8.x versions. When VisualSVN 9.0 will be released, you would need to purchase an upgrade for your VisualSVN 8.x licenses. There are significant discounts provided for licenses upgrade.
How can I get formal quote/proforma invoice for VisualSVN?
To get proforma invoice for VisualSVN Corporate or Site licenses, please perform the following steps:
- Choose the appropriate type of license and press the Purchase button.
- Enter your company name and the requested quantity of licenses and press the Proceed to Checkout button.
- Change the Payment Options to Bank/Wire Transfer.
- Fill all the required customer information and press the Continue button.
- Review your order details and press the Place order button.
- Click on the link in the PAYMENT DOCUMENTS section to download the required proforma invoice.
How to purchase VisualSVN using a Purchase Order?
To buy VisualSVN licenses using a Purchase Order, you are required to perform the following steps:
- Choose the appropriate type of license in the table above and click the purchase link.
- Enter your company name and the requested quantity of licenses and press the Proceed to Checkout button.
- Change the Payment Options to pay by Purchase order.
- Fill all the required customer information and press the Continue button.
- Review your order details and press the Place order button.
- Press the Download Purchase Order Form button.
- Print and sign the downloaded form.
- Send a scanned copy of the signed form to 2Checkout by email to support@2checkout.com
- The license key will be sent to you once the purchase order will be approved.
Note that invoice for the order will be sent to the e-mail provided in the purchase form. Please make sure that your accounting department will receive the invoice.
Is there a special discount for resellers?
No. At the moment there is no special discount for resellers. But since you provide additional service to the customer you are free to set your own price for VisualSVN.
How can I purchase the VisualSVN license on behalf of my customer?
To place the order on the behalf of your customer you are required to perform the following steps:
- Choose the appropriate type of license and press the Purchase button.
- Enter your customer's company name and the requested quantity of licenses and press the Next button.
- At 'Customer Information' block please fill your company information. License key and invoice would be sent to Email you provide at this block.
- Press the Next button and complete your order.
Where should I enter the VisualSVN license key?
Please copy&paste license key you received into the VisualSVN Registration dialog. For more details please refer to the support topic.
What delivery options are available?
VisualSVN license key is delivered electronically to the email address you provided while placing an order. If you have purchased VisualSVN with credit card then delivery should be almost instantaneous. In other cases it may take 2 business days.
VisualSVN is delivered electronically. You can download the latest version of VisualSVN from the download page. The delivery is free and does not enforce any additional shipping fees.
Is it possible to use VisualSVN Corporate and Personal licenses on more than one computer?
Yes, it's possible. VisualSVN Corporate and Personal licenses allow to install VisualSVN on multiple computers, provided that at any time the number of Authorized Users is not greater than the number of purchased licenses. More details are available in the End-User License Agreement.
