Symptoms
When trying to change the connection details of the master repository to which the slave repository is connected to, you may receive the following error message:
Master repository does not match the slave
Please make sure the master repository name is correct and that you are connecting to an appropriate VisualSVN Server instance.

The following error is logged to the VisualSVN Server event log:
Master repository does not match the slave.
Cause
This error indicates that VisualSVN Distributed File System service determined that the master repository contains different dataset than the slave repository. Therefore, the slave repository can’t be connected to the master repository.
Resolution
Make sure that you enter the correct master repository name and the correct hostname of the server.
