Symptoms
When trying to create a slave repository, you may receive the following error message:
Failed to access the local VDFS service
Please make sure the VisualSVN Distributed File System Service is started on both master and slave servers.
The remote procedure call failed: There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.

The following error is logged to the VisualSVN Server event log:
Failed to access the local VDFS service

Cause
This error indicates that the local VDFS service on the slave server is not running.
Resolution
Start VisualSVN Distributed File System Service on the slave server. Refer to KB74: Enabling and starting VDFS service article for a more detailed guidance.
